Bitcoin ETF inflows return, but need confirmation
Strength: 8/10 | Bullish short-term | Trend unconfirmed
Farside reports that US spot Bitcoin ETFs, exchange-traded funds that hold Bitcoin directly, went from -$424.7 million on 13 July to +$181.1 million and +$107.7 million over the next two days.
Why it matters: two positive sessions restore spot demand, but they do not make a trend. Renewed redemptions or material row revisions would weaken the view. Watch the next confirmed Farside figure.

MiCA makes authorization the test for EU access
Strength: 7/10 | Mixed for Crypto
MiCA, the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets rulebook, sets authorization requirements for crypto providers. Binance said on 24 June that it withdrew its Greek MiCA licence application and would seek authorization in another unnamed EU Member State. On 1 July, Binance said MiCA-related changes affected some EU users, while transfers and withdrawals remained available where applicable.
Disclaimer: these are Binance's own statements, not independent confirmation.
Why it matters: authorization can favor compliant providers but split access across Europe. The market signal is neutral for now. An official correction or little client impact would weaken it. Watch authorizations, regulator clarification, and service notices.

DTCC puts tokenized assets through live trades
Strength: 8/10 | Promising for crypto infrastructure, but too early to judge
DTCC, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, helps Wall Street firms hold, record, and settle securities. Tokenized assets are digital representations of assets recorded on a network.
On 15 July, DTCC said it completed production trades using tokenized versions of assets held by its securities depository. The work covered creating and lending tokens, using them as collateral, exchanging assets, and moving them between networks. DTCC showed that tokenized assets can move through systems institutions already use for traditional securities.
Why it matters: firms may be able to use tokenized securities with existing custody, meaning safekeeping, and settlement, meaning the final transfer. This is not yet a market-moving event. DTCC did not name participants, report volume or adoption, or announce a commercial launch. Its report did not establish a role for Circle or USDC. Watch for named firms using the system at meaningful scale.

Bottom line
- Two positive ETF sessions restore demand, but the next figure must show whether it can last.
- Binance presents MiCA as an authorization move. The evidence does not prove an EU exit or a market-wide effect.
- DTCC has moved tokenized assets through institutional systems, but has not shown adoption, scale, inflows, or price impact.
